Legs and Co on Top Of The Pops
Info
Legs and Co 1976-1981
When Pan's People finally hung up their dancing shoes in April '76, the gap was initially filled by Ruby Flipper but BBC chiefs took exception to a males/female dance troupe. The Ruby Flipper boys were dropped and three new girls were recruited. The new dancers made their first appearance on Top Of The Pops on 26th October 1976. For the first few weeks they were credited as '??????' until they received the name Legs and Co on 11th November from a postal vote made by the show. These tables are a pictorial documentation of their career on the show.
